You’ll have to be adventurous enough to be willing to “crack” open your Mac Mini with a putty knife, so be forewarned! By the way, all of the new Mac Minis use Core 2 Duo processors.

If you have one 1GB RAM module pre-existing in your mini, you could install a 2GB module in order for the machine to recognize 3GBs. However, the mini MUST be a Core 2 Duo.
